The fact is I have been a coach all my life! When I was a child, I enjoyed having dialogues with myself since I wanted to find out everything about me, still without being a harsh judge. I did not like anybody else to guide me, thus I did not even guide myself. The answers… well, there were so many and yet, none, whatsoever.
I was lucky to have great mentors: my parents. My mom had exquisite insights and pedagogical innate capacity. Once, since she noticed my attraction (I was about 3 years old) to the fire in the stove, she took my little hand and put it (in perfect control) against the hot door. That was her way of making me realistically experiment the burning without taking any risk.
My father had diplomacy in his blood – sometimes looked like manipulation. I was a rebellious teen when I went to a summer camp with my best friends. I missed the tight relationship with him so much, that, after a few days I wrote him a few lines that ended with a revealing “I am missing you, Dad”!.
My journey began at the University, in Bucharest, it continued with a Master’s degree in Geophysics – Engineering, and 10 wonderful years spent in the fascinating field of geosciences (National Institute of Geology and Geophysics).
Then I managed the local representative of Telerate – Dow Jones – and, as of 2001, I held positions such as Country Manager and Managing Director for other multinational companies.
When I discovered I could coach somebody else, I realized that was the way to my personal fulfillment.
After 2009 I devoted myself to coaching, being led by my well-known diligence: I attended some of the best-rated schools in Romania – Metasysteme and Noble Manhattan Coaching. Not long after graduation I started practicing this profession and since then I cannot get enough of updating myself with lectures, courses and complementary workshops (Coaching systemic with Alain Cardon, NLP with Mind Master, Transactional Analysis with Julie Hay, PCM with Lifelong Learning Solutions, Systemic Constellations with Petra Muller-Demary, Trainer with Brainevo, Hogan Assessments with HART Consulting, Transformational Presence Leadership and Coach Training with Alan Seale, Leadership Versatility Index with Kaiser Solutions, International Systemic Team Coaching Certificate with The Academy of Executive Coaching); I have become Senior Practitioner with European Mentoring and Coaching Council – EMCC and Professional Certified Coach of the International Coaching Federation – ICF.
I am permanently learning from my mentors, my colleagues, and, especially, from my clients. And I deeply thank them all. I learn not only what things are but especially, how things are to be done. I have explored, become aware, changed, and grown up. I do not intend to keep all these to myself – I will share everything with you, from all my heart!
